Firefox cannot open pictures in F/B, but Internet Explorer does. Why?
While surfing Facebook.com I was unable to view pictures on any sites I visited while using Firefox 3.6.13. I exited Firefox and opened Internet Explorer 8.0.6+, and all photos opened without any trouble. How can I view pictures on Facebook.com while using Firefox?

It is possible that you clicked "Block Images" in the right-click context menu while saving an image.
See:
You can use these steps to check if images are blocked:
- Open the web page that has the images missing in a browser tab.
- Click the website favicon (How do I tell if my connection to a website is secure?) on the left end of the location bar.
- Click the "More Information" button to open the "Page Info" window with the Security tab selected (also accessible via "Tools > Page Info").
- Go to the Media tab of the "Tools > Page Info" window.
- Select the first image link and scroll down through the list with the Down arrow key.
- If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "Block Images from..." then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.
Thanks for your effort, but as there were no checked boxes, I think that this fix will not help me with this bug.
Do you have any image exceptions listed in "Tools > Options > Content: Load Images > Exceptions "?
Sorry to report that I've no such exceptions. I'm sure that this is going to end up as an unchecked box, or a misspelled word or something really silly. Thanks for taking the time to help me ... I appreciate it !
OK - No blocked images, no exceptions listed. By the way - thank you Cor-el for the good try - appreciated.
Photos contained in the body of the email just do not appear. If I then load IE the same email shows all the content without any problem.
Now another hiccup. Today I tried to read an old email that had been sent to me. No text showed at all. Went to IE and there all the text showed without a problem.
