How can I prevent/disable automatic version updates of Firefox? I am running Windows 2000. recently when I opened the browser, Firefix 3.6.1.6 pushed itself onto my machine. Now, when I open this new version of Firefox, it does not connect to the web, although I am able to connect with Internet Explorer.
