Firefox(from FF4 to FF12) forget line position
When you open any add-on(including Scratchpad)that have multiline area where you can type something,if you click on any button(including unactive)or right clicking on the tittle bar or make the window not focused...
The quickest way to try reproducing the problem is just open any add-on that have multiline area for typing or just Scratchpad(but by using the default editor, not orion(devtools.editor.component set to text area which is actually default)),just make few lines, right click on the tittle bar and then right click on the text area.
Doing so will return you to the first line,no matter how many lines you have created.
This is really annoying when you create style for Stylish for example or Custom Buttons or any other add-on that allows you to write more than one line
I'm using Windows XP SP2 and this problem don't exist only on Firefox 3.6.25/23 and maybe older

I'm not able to reproduce it, when I write few lines in Scratchpad and I right click on the title bar of Scratchpad, if I click again on the text area, the mouse pointer go to the place where I clicked.
Please try Safe Mode: Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode
Right click on it,not left(to use the context menu) Also try to make the window unactive and then right click on the text area.
Here doing so will make the text area/window active but also return me to the first line
Edit:I also tried Safe mode and windows safe mode + firefox safe mode. I also tried with new profile for each FF4 to FF12 versions but it was the same

Forgot to mention that it doesn't happen the add-on Stylish only if I install the add-on for it Stylish-Custom or use the Orion editor in Stylish but he is giving me even more problems
So it's an add-on issue, not a bug native to Firefox. Bump the add-on/script dev.

No it's not,it really is FF bug and it exist since 3.7a4pre.en-US.win32
It took me a lot of time to track it down(thank god that mozilla keep backup of every single release)
It's between those to releases http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/2010/03/2010-03-18-04-mozilla-central/ http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/2010/03/2010-03-19-04-mozilla-central/
The bug is between those two version and to be more precise in the file named xul.dll The version difference in that file between both FF releases is just one 1.9.3.3729 => 1.9.3.3730
If I install the second release(2010-03-19-04 with the 1.9.3.3730 xul.dll file)and copy the file xul.dll(1.9.3.3729)from the 2010-03-18-04 release to the newer version, the problem disappear.
So what's the next step?
