I was downloading using mozilla downloadhelper and when I save the file, it won't show up and i can't see the progress but it is saved. The problem is, I can't pause or stop it. So i tried to close the mozilla and click the 'cancel download', and the file in my desktop disappeared. But when I open the browser again, it starts to download again and I still cannot see the progress. So how can I stop it?

Do you see this file in the Downloads folder in the Downloads Manager (Library) or on the about:downloads page?
