I just downloaded the most recent version of Firefox and it by default installed the Yahoo toolbar on my computer!!!!!!!! I do not like Yahoo and do not trust them!!!!!!!!!!! I found out how to remove it from Firefox, but I wasn't given the chance to not install Yahoo!!!!! Is there anyway to not download Yahoo on future updates?

I've removed the Search engine from the search area and installed Google instead, thats how bad I hate yahoo.

Thanks Leslie

When you download Firefox directly from Mozilla, you don't get any extra toolbars. http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/fx/#desktop http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html

Plus Firefox comes with the Google search plugin, no need to install it yourself. A Yahoo search plugin is also included, but as you found out it is quite easily removed.
