How do I permanently delete all one click search engines from Firefox 34.0.5 except Google?

more options

In previous versions there was a Delete or Remove button to permanently remove Search engine choices. This version has some several default choices that I cannot delete. Is this a feature you removed? Yahoo, Ask and Bing suck.

You can remove items via the previously used search engine manager that you can open via the chrome URI link I posted in my above reply.

If you are using latest version of Firefox ,then to delete all search engine you should proceed to some steps : actually those steps allow you to disable search engine with your choice. steps are: 1.click on Open menu button on the last above corner of your screen(below the red X windows exit button) 2.After the menu buttons opening click on Options 3. A new panel namely options was opened. You should click on search tab with magnifier glass picture. 4.You are now on your destination, click on the list box provided below (Default search engine.....) 5.You have to choose google present there ,check on the check box 6. Now the final step, Uncheck all the checkbox provided below which will disable those search engines. When all done click on OK. Done, enjoy thankyou

You can create a bookmark with the location set to this chrome URI to open the previously used window to manage search engines.

The procedure you referenced is how to set the default Search engine. I want to delete (not deselect) the items in Search engine list.
