Firefox for android won't sync ever since update to 34.0.1
Hello. Ever since Firefox has updated to version 34.0.1, I can't sync any of my browser bookmarks. Whenever I try to open "sync" in settings (of Firefox browser itself) it crashes and won't let me open it. Ever since the update. I can't even sync directly from android's settings... it doesn't do anything. Thanks for anyone's help!

Hi Ererer, Thank you for your question. Please try the following troubleshooting, but make a back up of your profile first: Back up and restore information in Firefox profiles
- Remove the account from the updated device
- Go to accounts.firefox.com
- Login one more time
Then go to your account settings on the android device and make sure that sync is not disabled for the account. Also make sure that auto-data sync is allowed.

How exactly do I make a backup file of my bookmarks on android? Because for the link you gave, it was for windows. And if I delete my Firefox account from android settings, will it delete all of my passwords on my device, not the account? So I can re-setup the Firefox sync? Thanks
- will it delete all of my bookmarks on my devce, and current Firefox settings and bookmarks and stuff like that* is what I meant
Detaching the account should not erase any information stored on the local android profile. However making a back up in mobile is also currently not a built in feature. In the past the profile has been located in the folder that is mentioned in this solution: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/que.../950536
Thanks!
