I need to move a few messages (and nothing else) from an old TB profile to the new profile. How?

Windows 8.1

New Thunderbird installation on new computer. I thought I had properly migrated the user profile from the old computer, but when I opened TB, the old profile was not in place, and 51 messages downloaded into the new default profile.

I copied that profile as for a migration and set it aside. I now have the profile from the old computer in place, and I need to integrate the messages that downloaded in the interim.

What to do, what to do?

Thank you.

Install this add-on. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/importexporttools/

Then import the downloaded messages from the mail file in the new profile.

Thank you for your prompt reply. I installed that add-on and tried it, but it doesn't offer the option of importing Thunderbird messages. There doesn't seem to be an add-on that solves this problem.

You import folders (presumably an Inbox with the 51 new messages), not individual messages. http://kb.mozillazine.org/Importing_folders

I reinstalled ImportExportTools and was able to import the messages. Most of them are spam, but I'm a completist.

Thank you.
