I exported my events to an *.ics file but can find no way in import into my new calendar on my new PC. Old calender not sync'd to anything nor is the new one.

  1. In Thunderbird, select the Calendar tab.
  2. From the 'Events & Tasks' menu, select 'Import...'.
  3. Navigate to and highlight the '.ics' file and click 'Open'.
  4. On the small 'Select Calendar' screen, highlight the calendar you want and click 'OK'.
  5. There will be a delay of several seconds while Lightning processes the calendar file.
  6. Note that a calendar is displayed if it is checked, and hidden if not checked.
