How do I delete bookmarks that I no longer need.

Are you using the Library dialog? Either:

  • Command+Shift+b
  • "Show All Bookmarks"

If you select a bookmark on the right side, you can delete it using either:

  • Delete key on the keyboard (may be called Del)
  • right-click or Ctrl+click > Delete
  • Organize menu > Delete

The usual methods of selecting multiple items in Finder should apply to the Library dialog as well, in case you want to select a number of items and delete them in one step.

The Library dialog has an Undo item on the Organize menu in case of errors, but that Undo might not go back too far, so please use it promptly if needed!
