the old story. i downloaded some free software to convert a file and it dumped FINDWIDE virus on me. the virus keeps changing my homepage and controls which search engine i use.

Good news : This extension will reset your about:newtab page to default, along with a few other settings. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/searchreset/?src=ss
