Hi,

Thank you for the feedback however this solution does not work for me. To note I noticed that my laptop started to act strange after using O&O ShutUp ... now aside from this issue my laptop fan is working hard-fast and the brightness of my monitor is at it's max. As it concerns the brightness even after it going into the settings it still stays bright ... I'm going to simply format my laptop and after this i'll update my Windows drivers then install as a first application Firefox per the link that was provided ... I'll let you know if my procedure works ... Thank you

Disable that program as a test.

Start your Computer in safe mode with networking. Then start Firefox. Try Safe web sites. Is the problem still there?

It is possible that your firewall or other security software blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.

Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full, unrestricted, access to install for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.
