I have a new Dell Latitude Laptop, Windows 7, MS Office 2013. This morning, my Seagate Backup had error that didn't back all files up. Files were related to something called Sandbox... reason Firefox says it crashed is "sboxhost.dll" I ran Norton antivirus scan, did reboot, even tried running Malwarebytes and complete reboot. Uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox and still, same message! Help!

hi, unfortunately this seems to have been caused by an update to the Dell Protected Workspace that is running on your device - could you try uninstalling it in case you're not using it?

Where do I find that Program (name) and do I uninstall the entire thing?

hi, you'll likely find it in your system's control panel: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/uninstall-a-program-in-windows/

Phillipp: thank you so much. I never would have guessed that solution! I asked about the "name" because I needed to know that I wouldn't uninstall or delete anything wrong! I am fairly new to this new system and am a little nervous. Thanks, again!

Same problem.... Since yesterday Firefox has been crashing upon launch on my new Dell Latitude with Protected Workspace environment.

A few minutes ago I discovered that if I want to launch Firefox all I need do is click the Dell Protected Workspace icon on the start menu, or double-click the matching icon on the desktop and VOILA!!! Firefox pops open and runs happily in the Dell Protected Workspace environment.

I hope this works for you!

nancyg72, if you want to uninstall the program it is most likely showing up as entry "Dell Protected Workspace" by Invincea Inc in your list of installed software.
