When I send a message, how can I get Thunderbird to save it in a local folder, not "Sent"?
I am using POP. I have a number of Local folders where I want to store messages about particular topics. I can move messages there from my Inbox, and I can move sent messages there from the Sent folder on the mail server, but this is tedious. When I was using Pegasus mail, I could set it up so that every time I sent a message it would ask me where to save it, and I found this really useful. Is there such a feature in Thunderbird? If so, I haven't found it. I can't even see how to direct sent messages to my Local folder Outbox.
Thanks for your help.

Outbox is a system box for mails that are to be sent later. If you work offline or decide to send later, they will stay in OUTBOX until sent and then moved to Sent-folder.
POP's sent is a local folder. but under the local account-folder.
