Does Edge itself handle email as does Opera? Or are you accessing a webmail site?

If the latter, you need to find out how that site can take contacts data. CSV file is the usual format. Thunderbird can export its address books to CSV files.

You talk about using Edge as if you can't use Thunderbird. Why would that be?

When in Edge it gives me an opportunity to send a page on the browser to other people. In order to do that I need my contact addresses. They now are on Chrome but I can't get them to be imported into the Edge Browser.

I presume you're trying to send the page with the Share Web Note feature in Edge. In that case, the only options are to use either the Mail app, "Messaging" (Skype), or, on my system, OneNote. There doesn't appear to be a way to invoke the default email program, e.g. TB, even if it is Outlook(!).

For now, it's probably better to just copy the link in Edge and paste it into a TB message, or, if your contacts are "on Chrome" (Gmail?), open the Gmail site in Edge and paste the link into a Gmail message.

Another possibility would be to add your Gmail account to the Mail app, in which case you would have access to your Google Contacts
