Why does thunderbird keep remarking things as junk after I've marked them as not junk?

One sender keeps getting her mail marked as junk, and it was getting sent to the Junk mail folder. So I marked it as Not Junk, but it just marked it again later. I turned off all the junk filtering capabilities I could find, and her mail still keeps getting marked as junk whenever the mailbox refreshes. It's not getting sent to junk mail anymore (I dont' know what will happen the next time she sends one).

Details: she's in my address book she's responding to a message that I sent her

It's a yahoo mail account and I use Imap settings I logged in to the Yahoo web client, and there's no indication there that the messages are flagged as junk
