I just bought a new computer and I am transferring my bookmarks from my old computer. I had FireFox on the old computer too. I made an email and put all my old bookmarks in it and mailed it to myself. In the new computer when I open each site from the email it opens but what I click on the star to bookmark it in my new computer nothing happens. It don't make a new bookmark. My bookmarks are not working. How do I turn them on?

Sometimes, files sent like that are compromised.

This is another way;

On the old computer, Type about:support in the address bar and press enter.

Under the page logo on the left side, you will see Application Basics. Under this find Profile Folder. To its right press the button Show Folder. This will open your file browser to the current Firefox profile. Now Close Firefox.

This is your current profile. Copy the folder As Is to a folder on a thumb drive. Then Copy the folder to the new system.
