My e-mails download from server to Thunderbird, but not my wife'sy
When I go to Thunderbird and click on Get Messages, my e-mail downloads from the Time Warner/Spectrum server. When my wife's e-mails download, there is a message on Thunderbird indicating that e-mails are being downloaded from the server, they disappear from the server, however never make it to my wife's e-mail -- they just disappear. They are not found in any other folders (e.g. spam or trash), and my settings as well as my wife's are identical, except for different usernames and e-mail addresses. I am the main account holder, per Time Warner/Spectrum, and my wife is listed as a sub account. The server accepts our passwords when we are asked to provide them after clicking on Get Messages.
Thanks in advance for your assistance.

When you say they are "not found", how are you looking for them?
Hi Zenos, Thanks for replying. I look first on the screen containing all her e-mails (i.e. where you normally look every day to see what e-mails you have received), and I look at the various folders listed on the left, e.g. Trash, Junk, Sent,Archives.
Whether or not this gets solved, I do truly appreciate your attention to it.
I'd try setting the view to show unread messages. In the main menu across the top,
View|Folders|Unread
(No menu? Press alt or F10.)
Or in the Application Menu, behind the three-bar "hamburger" button, that's:
[≡]Folders|Unread
This will cause it to show only folders with unread messages; this might lead you to where new messages are hiding. If we can find them then maybe that will lead to some ideas about what to do to correct things.
Hi, Well, you're brilliant! When I go to the email screen and highlight "Unread" just above Subject at the top of the email list, there are the missing emails.
What was it set to?
In the View|Folders menu switch, "All" is the usual setting. We actually often advise users to set it to All because their read messages are disappearing in front of their eyes. ;-)
And, aha! You found yet another way to manage the view. I do like that new view button. We used to have a pair of left/right arrows there which let you scroll through the various views. The trouble was that it didn't tell you which view you were using, and users would get in a flap because they couldn't see messages. The tool was taken away, and you either had to use the menu (as I described) or restore the arrow buttons with an add-on. This new implementation makes it clear which view you have, so long as you understand what it's trying to tell you.

Hi again, Well, we're quite happy with your suggestions. We both are getting our emails, and the only added step is that my wife has to read them in her Unread Folder, but that's no big deal -- just one extra click. Thank you so much for not only your technical knowledge, but also your kindness in sticking with it. Truly, we both appreciate you very much.
Always the best to you.
