In any document with a linked reference or when I receive emails with an active link that I must follow to get more information, I receive a warning statement saying that 'Your organization' policies are preventing us from completing this action for you'. Then it says 'Please ask you help desk'. The only way to follow the link is to copy it to the browser. But, this is very time-consuming.

This issue can be caused with the default browser settings where some registry keys are incorrect or corrupted. You can try to redo the default browser setting and temporarily set another browser as the default browser.
