Thunderbird stopped downloading e-mail yesterday. I have an AT&T Yahoo configured POP account. It was working fine up until yesterday. No changes were made to the account settings. When I start Thurnderbird it says that it's sending Login information, then that it's Checking the Inbox for new messages, with a "flowing" green bar to the right (see image attached), but nothing downloads.

I tried starting Thunderbird in safe mode... no change. I tried restarting the computer in safe mode... no change. I checked Firewall settings (Norton), but Thunderbird is shown with all permissions.

I only switched to Thunderbird because Microsoft discontinued support for Windows Live Mail and I got a new computer and Thunderbird happened to have a function to import the .eml files from Live Mail.

Help!

I can send message, but not receive them. I can access all e-mail online at "att.net". I tried resetting the password for the incoming server... no effect.
