Just installed Windows 10 Pro. I'm trying to install firefox on my system. Download works properly, but once I try to open the program, I'm met with an error saying "Your Organization used Windows Defender Application Control to block this app". I've tried disabling just about everything in Windows Defender related to apps, but I still can't get the program to run.

Hi

If you are installing software on a corporate device, you may find that your organisations IT support team has put some restrictions in place to prevent this from happening.

I recommend having a chat with them about this and hopefully they can help.

It is possible they have blocked setups for those who do not have permission.

Or it could be making a fuss about the stub installer.

Try the full Firefox setup for Windows from www.mozilla.org/firefox/all

Some security software like antivirus and such still have issues with the stub installer concept (that is served to Windows users on www.mozilla.org) even though it started back during Firefox 18.0 Release and still making false positives as a result.
