Hi,

I often need to switch between white text on black background and the default color scheme of websites. For this, I use an addon like ToggleDocumentColors, which lets me change the 'Override the colors specified by the page with your selection above' option in the Firefox settings with a hotkey. This addon was not updated in a long while and I could not find any others which do what I want and are compatible with Quantum. Can anyone point me to a working addon or maybe a different way to add a hotkey for this option?

Note that I want to change the mentioned 'override' option and not add an additional feature which changes site colors in some other way.

Cheers, Wayne

Hi Wayne,

I couldn't find anything in particular that might work as a replacement but then again I'm not an expert.

Maybe try joining the discussions with the friendly people of r/firefox? They might have some suggestions.

Thanks for your replies, I've posted the question to reddit.

Not sure what Toggle Website Colors actually does, but it does not change the font and background colors like the Firefox option I've mentioned above.
