Google search suddenly stopped working. Works in other browsers.

I ran a Google search as normal, but nothing happened when I typed in a new search. No error messages or redirects, just nothing happens. It's as if I didn't click or press enter. Does not work when I use the address bar, search box or search bar on the tabs page. I can't even get google.com to load. Other search engines work fine and Google works fine on my other browsers. I tried updating Firefox, disabling all plugins and extensions, but the problem persists.

Pretty sure it's not malware as this occurred while I was working and I hadn't downloaded anything. I ran a few scans just to be sure, but no problems were found.

Google works fine with FF58 even in IE11, Edge, Chrome. So not sure what happened to your FF install but I have no issue with google site in FF.
