I've just copied a file of contacts from my tablet and want to add the contents to my Thunderbird Address Book. There doesn't seem to be any easy way of doing this. Can anyone help? And why doesn't Mozilla include an Import facility as many people must transfer from Outlook or other email program to Thunderbird?

If all the contacts are in a single vcf file, select Tools/Import...Address books... vCard file(vcf)... select the vcf file. If you have one vCard for each contact, see this post.
