I have 5,000+ bookmarks on my desktop version of firefox is this a issue for the android version sync?

more options

It's probably more like close to 9,000 if not more bookmarks I have collected for years. Why so many? I do research. I would love to sync them but I am afraid once I do I will either loose all my space on my phone for which I have used so far 23% of my space of 64gb, or I will crash my phone trying too sync. I will be honest here and say I have no idea how this stuff is sync.

Well, thanks for asking but judging by your phone storage capacity I don't think neither anything can happen nor will happen And about storage maybe it will use 250 MB max.
