Recently firefox has begun to be show graphics and text distorted.

When i scroll the web page or resize the window the distortion will move (some times the page is rendered almost completely ok).

When alt+tab to another application and then swich back to firefox the page is rendered as it should.

I have tried to refresh firefox as described here: https://support.mozilla.org/sv/kb/reset-preferences-fix-problems

What I can further do to track down this problem?

HI, if possible please reinstall your Video Card Drivers and go through any control panel it has and turn on stuff.

I am actually not quite sure what I can do to enable stuff, to me it looks like hardware acceleration is enabled.

When I execute glxinfo, it says that direct rendering is enabled.

> glxinfo | grep "direct rendering" direct rendering: Yes

Force setting gfx.xrender.enabled to true seems to give me something that works, but I guess it disables the acceleration completely.
