Invalid Username error in all saved passwords
Username and Passwords are already saved. When I select a username from the drop-down list, automatically the password associated with that username is entered. When I click enter or login, everytime and for every account it says - Invalid Username. When I enter the username and password manually, only then I am able to login. Uninstalled and re-installed Firefox. Cleared History, Cookies, Cache but the issue is still there.

It seems the browser had shuffled the passwords. Now when I have deleted all saved passwords and saved new ones, everything is working fine. Thanks for the suggestions!

When you uninstalled did you also delete the Mozilla folder? I know the password saved option should you use the same email or user name for sites unless you know which is which it will input the wrong password-since you can't see the password are you sure it was the right one.
Are you using a password manager add-on/program?
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

Note: Windows users should download the ActiveX for Internet Explorer. and the plugin for Plugin-based browsers (like Firefox).
Note: Windows 8 and Windows 10 have built-in flash players and Adobe will cause a conflict. Install the plugin only. Not the ActiveX.

That was very good work. Well done. Please flag your last post as Solved Problem so others will know.
I have reset my my password and successfully logged in on one mac platform. But it only worked once. Now when I go to re log in it says my username and password are unknown. After doing a password reset again, it still will not ask for the use name but instead asks for my email and then rejects the password. So none of my usernames, emails addresses or passwords will work to migrate my mac firefox data to my new firefox windows laptop app. BAD. This has happened every time you do a firefox upgrade, none of my passwords work. I really need to solve this today, right now for work. I need to use the login features, and migrate my mac desktop data to my new windows laptop. HELP!!!!

If clearing cookies didn't help then It is possible that the cookies.sqlite file in the Firefox profile folder that stores the cookies got corrupted.
- rename/remove cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and if present delete cookies.sqlite-shm and cookies.sqlite-wal in the Firefox profile folder with Firefox closed in case cookies.sqlite got corrupted.
