First of all : 'Outlook Express 7' is not a browser - it's an email client. In Windows you'll probably be using either Internet Explorer or Edge.

But why are you posting a question, that is obviously not related to Firefox (since you uninstalled Firefox from your system), on the Firefox support forum  ?

If you're using Windows, you could post this question on the Microsoft support forum :

https://answers.microsoft.com/windows

According to your system details you posted this on a Mac .....

Would you please take a look at this article - you will probably already know this, but just in case :

Thanks for the belligerent reply. My internet worked fine before Firefox was installed hence the question to you. Internet explorer 7 apologies for not correctly posting. Perhaps if you want a question answering on electrical engineering I could probably highlight your inadequacies. Your reply is as useful as Firefox

Would you please be so kind as to explain why you think Firefox is responsible for the problems you mentioned, when you uninstalled Firefox from your system  ?

You tell me? If you have a operating (google chrome) account and you delete it (everything still working post chrome) and you load Firefox but can't get on with it so delete it in the normal manner. Then, on type anything into the search bar of bing (default internet 7 explorer) the curser is dead. Mouse highlights subjects but search bar unable to type, It would be expected the problem lies in communication been removed whilst deleting your software?

Please, don't go biting my head off, but if I read your post correctly, you are using Internet Explorer, and not Firefox ...... (?)

In that case, you could post your question on the official Microsoft support forum :

https://answers.microsoft.com/windows/

If however, I (once again) misconstrued what you are saying : let me know and I'll call for help.

Apologies for delay.. A the operating system is XP and the thread is new I cannot see any related topics. Would MS not say well it clearly worked when you had chrome? When we programme cnc machines and problems occur normally we go back and delete the previous offending module check for bugs and reload it, so I don't know where to go with this apart from reformatting hard drive which I don't really want to do alas the internet on that computer is now useless.

Dear sir, as you are obviously not using Firefox as your browser, but Internet Explorer, I don't know what else to suggest than to post your question on the Microsoft support forum .....

But if, however, I misconstrued what you've been saying and you are indeed using Firefox as your browser, please let me know and I will call for help.

Probably a rhetorical question, but you do know that support for Windows XP ends in a few weeks time, don't you  ?

But you've posted this using a Mac - no problems there, I hope  ?
