That is a O/S controlled option. You will have to look online for that option and how to set it.

Hello grinder,

Would you please take a look at this article :

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/change-program-used-open-email-links

When you scroll all the way down, you'll find that you might have to look for an add-on (I'm not sure, though) ....

Where?

https://www.ubergizmo.com/how-to/set-default-email-client-windows/

I did just a simple search mailto windows 7 to find those links. Thing here is like I mentioned is a Windows O/S control that does that and the Browser follows those setup from the O/S.

It was about AOL webmail and not email clients and do note that Mozilla has a Knowledge Base here with useful articles like https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/change-program-used-open-email-links which you can find in the Advance Search.

In Options. (See image, below.)

In another issue:

Your Adobe Flash Plug-in is out of date.

Your system details show that you need to update your Adobe Flash Player - you're running an older version, which can cause problems and can be a security issue running older versions.

You can go to the Add-ons area in FF and click on Plug-ins. You should see a notice about having 1 or more updates pending if you're not set to automatically have Extensions and Plug-ins updated.

You can also go to Adobe's site to grab the Flash Update:

https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

Note : UnCheck the boxes for the additional sponsored software that is offered on the download page if you wish not to have it also installed.

Some would advise to uninstall any old versions of Flash on your system. With Windows 7, there should only be two 'types' of Flash. One for FireFox and the other 'ActiveX' type for the Internet Explorer browser. (Even if you don't use IE, you should keep IE and it's Flash updated, as IE still is part of the Windows-7 OS.)

If you go to Windows' Programs and Features...

Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Programs and Features

...and find more than one type each of Flash, uninstall your older versions (Right-Click on any version you want to uninstall and a pop-up should say 'Uninstall') and install the latest version, which is 32.0.0.142 (which is now 156 on Adobe's site - soon to be noted by FF within hours or a day or so.)
