Thunderbird has stopped sending me BCC of my emails, even though the BCC setting is activated in Account Settings. Internet provider is Rogers which made some changes yesterday. I use a MAC computer. However, I do receive BCC of my emails when I use Rogers webmail.

re : Internet provider is Rogers which made some changes yesterday. Did they move everything to a yahoo server?

Do you logon to yhaoo server using this info:

Is the bcc email address, the same as the account email address, so you are basically sending from yourself to yourself using same email address?

I just performed a test. In my account with xxx email address, I added a bcc to same xxx email address in the 'Copies & Folders' of same xxx Account Settings. Click on Write and Bcc auto completed. From xxx Bcc xxx After sending: You should see a copy of this in the 'Sent' folder. Do you see a copy in 'Sent' folder?

Then logon to https://ca.rogers.yahoo.com/ Do you see anything in the Inbox or Spam folders ?

It is possible BCC messages are getting flagged as spam by the outgoing mail server and simply removed by that server.

But it is possible that yahoo do not allow bcc when sent from and to same email address because you already have a copy in the 'Sent' folder. Not sure if they have any settings which can be tweaked within that webmail.

Thank you for your input. I just discovered the solution. I had one message filter in Thunderbird: SpamAssassinYes When I removed this filter, I started to receive BCC of the emails I sent to other people, just as I previously always had.

I did not have any filter set in my webmail account: https://ca.rogers.yahoo.com/ so I did not have any problems with receiving BCC and indeed receive a BCC in my webmail INBOX as well as the email in the SENT file in webmail.
