How to automatically update pinned tabs when network is reconnected?

There are several pinned tabs when I open my Firefox.

The problem is when there is no Internet connection, these tabs are displayed as requiring network connection. However when the network is connected, these tabs are not automatically updated - they still displayed as requiring network connection. I have to refresh each one of them.

Is that my configuration has problem, or the automatically refresh tab function is missing?

Thanks wxie

Hi wxie,

I'm sorry to hear that you have intermittent connection problems.

This might help you refresh your tabs after connection resumes.

Right click on any tab and choose Select All Tabs

Right click again and select Reload Tabs

Hope this helps!

Thanks.

At least we have a way to refresh all the tabs using one-click.

Hi wxie,

I meant to warn you, if you do it this way, don't forget to UNselect the tabs by clicking on only one. Otherwise, if you go to close a tab it will close the browser with no warning window since it "sees" only one tab. (You can Restore Last Session)

Sorry it isn't more automated.

You probably need to clear the cache to make Firefox reload pinned tabs from the server instead of from the cache.

You can possibly use "Clear history when Firefox closes" to clear the disk cache.

There HAS to be a way to make pinned tabs auto-refresh! Losing all my History is NOT a fix for me. :(

This is only about clearing the disk cache, so you won't lose history. If you would clear the browsing history via "Clear history when Firefox closes" then Firefox won't reopen pinned tabs and normal tabs.
