I just moved my Thunderbird program and files to a new computer, which has caused an issue. The Image in my signature is not showing, but only when creating new emails or responding to emails. Email templates that I had previously created work normally. I have check the HTML files and everything seems to be OK, but I am not an HTML expert at all. This is a mystery that only a Sherlock Thunderbird Expert can solve. If you are that person, I would really appreciate your help. PEACE & LOVE

Templates include the HTML from when they were created, if the HTML is done correctly the images will also have been imported and encoded at the time of creation.

Clicking new imports the HTML. to form the signature and that includes the image being imported to Thunderbird from the file it resides in.

So what you are describing still sounds like HTML that contains a path to an image that no longer resolves for whatever reason. Possible it does not exist on the new machine at all.

Just a guess, but I am thinking the path to the images has changed. perhaps your old device used the user name owner and now you use something else that makes the documents or where ever you have the image stored invalid.

Hello Matt, Thank you for your suggestion, but we have already checked all of the basic things such as you mentioned. The paths are all OK because the Templates that were made prior to the moving of Thunderbird to my new computer are all bringing the image up correctly. the issue is only happening with email replies and new emails that are being composed. Everything else is working properly. Thanks again for your attempt at helping me. if you have any additional suggestions, please let me know.

Hello Matt, I double-checked the HTML file and discovered the path to the file on my new computer was using the name of my old computer in the file name. I simply changed the computer name in the file path, which solved the issue. Thanks for your help. It is greatly appreciated. PEACE & LOVE !!
