Hey Can someone help me please? My Thunderbird account all of sudden has stopped letting me send emails. Spoke to a friend and they said change your port number and you server names. Now I can't open any of my received emails, not getting any new emails through and I cannot send any emails.

I'm not sure what my server name should be and what my port number should be can any one help at all please????

Hi You need to ask the provider of your email service what the incoming and outgoing server settings need to be. The server names will be unique to the email provider, and the settings in Thunderbird have to be an exact match for the email service you are using. When you have the information from their support team - enter those settings into Thunderbird. In the mean time, are you able to access your webmail online? That should allow you to continue using email until you get the Thunderbird local client working again. Best wishes, Agnes

As far as I can tell, your domain is hosted by Heart Internet. They suggest these settings:

incoming IMAP server: mail.hasslefreefitness.com on port 143, STARTTLS security, authentication = normal password, User Name = email address.

outgoing SMTP server: mail.hasslefreefitness.com on port 587, STARTTLS security, authentication = normal password, User Name = email address.
