Hi there,

I've got an issue on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 (Android 10). Certain websites (e.g. github.com or even accounts.firefox.com) do not let me sign in, because they think cookies are not allowed in my browser. This is actually regardless of which cookie setting I choose: Neither of the three Allow settings allows me to login to the websites. Using Google Chrome on the same device lets me login to Github without any issue.

On my OnePlus 5 with Android 9 login to Github is working using Firefox for Android with cookie setting "Allow, but not for tracking across websites"

Thanks for looking into this.

Stay safe Thomas

One more remark: As described above, I was not able to post my question using Firefox on my Galaxy Tab S6, even though the browser is generally connected to my Firefox account and general account functions (syncing tabs or bookmarks) is working without any issues.

Hi

Do you have any add-ons installed in Firefox for Android?

Do you have any add-ons installed in Firefox for Android?

Yes, indeed:

  • Certainly Something (Certificate Viewer) 1.2.3
  • Default 1.0
  • HTTPS Everywhere 2020.3.16

Once I received your mail, I disabled "Certainly Something" and "HTTPS Everywhere", but this made no difference. Both Addons are also installed on my OnePlus 5, and as stated before, this device does not show the issue described above.
