Whenever I log into my google account in a private tab, it also opens it for every other private account I create after that. I have to completely close firefox for it to stop. If I log out in one of the private tabs, it logs me out of all of them. How do I stop this?

That is how (permanent) Private Browsing mode works regarding cookies. All Private Browsing mode windows and tabs share the same in memory cookie jar. You would have to use containers in normal mode (containers do not work in PB mode) to separate the cookies.
