"Clear Data", "Forget the Last 24hrs", and closing Firefox do not remove 160KB. This is a new problem.

Firefox may maintain a cache for some of the internal web requests that it needs to perform (update checks, add-on validation, etc). It's not uncommon for some cache to remain on the system after manually clearing the cache.

You can use the about:cache page in Firefox if you want to see specifically what Firefox is caching.

As a side note, it looks like you are running in permanent Private Browsing mode. In that case, the cookies, cache and other session data gets deleted automatically when you close Firefox.
