How can I stop Microsoft Edge spams to download?
At the top of my home page I consistently get spams to download Edge. My Firefox browser is up to date version 78.0.2. I should be able to keep my home page safe from constant spamming. I have searched numerous ways to control what I view & come empty handed. It appears Mozilla & Microsoft are in cahoots. I managed to block it with AdBlock but the update removed my block. Why do you even allow this? Your help is appreciated. Thanks

Neither Mozilla or the Firefox web browser has anything to do with any prompts to download Edge.
If your homepage is say Bing.com or another Microsoft website then it is Microsoft's doing.
You could use a ad blocker extension to block them or use another homepage or search engine site.

I followed your directions but it did not solve my problem. I already had Ad Block & got rid of the Edge add but it come back after the latest Firefox update. I had AdBlock disabled during the change to AD Block Plus. I thought there would or should be a way in Firefox settings that I may have overlooked. Now using Add Block it eliminated the add. It appears it will need refreshed after every Firefox update. Unless unless there is a way in Firefox settings this will do. Thanks

I'm ok with using a blocker. However it really annoys me since I have downloaded & installed the latest version of Edge. One would think they should know that but sadly they do not. Thanks
