Hi - For the last few months, about half of my Sent messages are not being saved automatically to the sent folder. I have used the same POP Server account for over 10 years, and I lean out my Sent folder monthly, to keep the number of emails in the folder under 5,000. I'm not getting any message re SENT MESSAGE NOT SAVED - I just go and look for a message to save it in an archive, or copy text - and its not there.

As an example, 8 messages I sent this morining from 7-9am are not in my SENT folder. Other messages I sent before and after are.

HELP!

re : I clean out my Sent folder monthly, to keep the number of emails in the folder under 5,000.

When was the last ime you compacted the 'Sent' folder to remove hidden marked as deleted emails?

Do you compact the 'Sent' folder every month after doing the clean up/deletion of emails ?
