It is about pinned tab. I am having a problem about the pinned tabs. I pin a tab in one window. Then I open new window. I close the previous window with pinned tab. Use the new window then close it too. I reopen Firefox there is no pinned tab in new window. it keeps me losing my pinned tabs. How can I solve this problems.

Pinned tab are specific to a window, each window can have its own pinned tabs.
If you have multiple windows open then you need to use Exit and not click the close X or always make sure to close the window with the pinned tabs as the last window.

You can still check "History -> Recently Closed Windows" to see if you can restore the window with the pinned tabs.

Use one of these to close Firefox if you are currently doing that by clicking the close X on the Firefox Title bar.

  • "3-bar" menu button -> Exit (Power button)
  • Windows: File -> Exit
  • Mac: Firefox -> Quit Firefox
  • Linux: File -> Quit
