Neither Firefox or Firefox ESR supports all NPAPI plugins. It's been only Flash support since the summer of 2018.

ESR is aimed at (large) companies that do not want to update as often as the release update channel receives (about once a month) and only receives security updates and no new features.

You are using Mac OS X 10.11 and this OS is no longer supported and you have been moved to the Firefox 78 ESR release.
