Different iOS version in App Store
The most recent version of the iOS Firefox app shown on the Mozilla website is 94, but the most recent version of the Firefox app in the App Store is 39. Are they the same or is there a discrepancy?

Firefox for desktop (94) and Firefox for iPhone (39) are different apps with different numbering. Both versions are recent, but 39 is for mobiles.

iOS is a mobile OS for iPhone while the Firefox 94.0 on Mozilla website is for desktop Windows, Linux and Mac OS 10.12 or later.

iOS (formerly iPhone OS) is a mobile operating system created and developed by Apple Inc. exclusively for its hardware. It is the operating system that powers many of the company's mobile devices, including the iPhone and iPod Touch; the term also included the versions running on iPads until the name iPadOS was introduced with version 13 in 2019.
iOS is not the same as MacOS used on Apple's Mac computers and MacBooks. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MacOS
Thanks for the clarification. The reason I posted the question was due to an email I received announcing Firefox’s latest mobile app. The email referred to being able to use add ons with the mobile app. A major issue I have with Firefox iOS app is the lack of add ons or extensions. I thought they had finally addressed the issue. Unfortunately not. The add ons are only available for Android mobile. Somehow without realizing it, I got to the Firefox for PCs while looking mobile add ons, hence the confusion.
Firefox for iOS is more of a shell due to Apple's restrictions on what browser engine and such can be used.

Saw a thread a short while ago about progress of making extensions work with Firefox for iOS, though these are not Extensions like you have for Android and desktop Firefox but I cannot find it.
