Trust Manager

I'd like to enable the Trust Manager for a series of PDF files. However, even though I've tried several times to do so through the Edit/Preferences function, I've not been able to do so. Nothing changes. I remain unable to access the docs.

Please help to enable this function?

Hi, I'm not familiar with the name Trust Manager. Is the website giving you some steps that tell you to open a Trust Manager?? If possible, could you provide more context? Thanks.

Sure.

A grey message box comes up when I try to access documents in a PDF sent by my employer. The message reads as follows:

"Currently in safe reading mode. This document cannot connect to:

https://learninghub.phsa.ca/courses/20165/react-adult-protection-curriculum-models-1-overview-of-legislation-and-documentation

If you want to enable this function, please check the Trust Manager preferences to disable safe reading."

When I go to 'Preferences' through the Windows Start tab and click on Trust Manager, I'm not able to access the protected files.

PS I was unable to take a screen shot of this grey box.

Okay, that's helpful. You have multiple options for viewing PDFs, including Firefox, Edge, and programs specific to PDF documents.

Are you viewing this PDF in Foxit PDF Reader or Foxit PDF Editor? Their website has an article that seems to match what you're seeing (this is a Foxit setting, not a Firefox or Windows setting):

https://kb.foxitsoftware.com/hc/en-us/articles/360040659331-How-to-disable-the-safe-reading-mode-

Does that solve it?

I'm viewing the documents list in Foxit Phantom PDF.

And yes, the link did solve the problem! Thank-you very much. :)
