What is Wrong with Firefox fonts.

Attached is the same web page on Safari and Firefox. This is on a Mac running OS 10.15.7.

This problem has gradually been getting worse over the last month or so. I don't want to run safari... I don't like safari...! Please help, I am not software literate and so incapable of delving into all the hidden layers of code.

You can check in Font Book for font issues like corrupted and duplicate fonts. Firefox can't access the requested font for some reason and replaces it with a last resort font that displays all glyphs as a '?'.

You can right-click and select "Inspect" to open the built-in Inspector with this element selected.

You can check in the Rules tab in the right panel in the Inspector what font-family is used for selected text. You can check in the Fonts tab in the right panel in the Inspector what font is actually used because Firefox might be using a different font than specified by the website.
