Unlike other buttons, extensions (add-on manager) button can not be removed from a toolbar while I customize it. Is there any way to remove it?

You should look at this support article. There is a preference you can change but it may be inadvisable to do so.

Thank you for your reply. According to the support article "No, it is currently not possible to remove this button or change its location. This is by design." Unfortunately...( I hope that they will implement an opportunity to hide it in further versions.
