Hello,

I was prompted that an upgrade was available and attempted to download/upgrade it.

Firefox upgrade to version 11. From version Firefox 109.0.1 on MACOS 12.6.3 After downloading I start Firefox get pop to install a new helper tool. I enter my admin name & password to allow this.

If I enter the correct user/password & click Install Helper the pop up disappears and nothing happens. When I launch FF again it prompts again same message. IF I enter the wrong passed it shakes and asks again.

Seems stuck anyone else having this problem and a possible workaround?

Thanks

There are a few potential workarounds you can try:

Restart your Mac and try the installation process again. Make sure you have enough free disk space to complete the installation. Disable any antivirus or firewall software you have running, as they may be interfering with the installation process. Try downloading the Firefox installer directly from the Mozilla website and running it manually instead of using the built-in updater. If none of these workarounds solve the issue, you may want to try uninstalling Firefox and then reinstalling the latest version from scratch.
