Cannot reset Comcast email password in Firefox
Comcast (Xfinity) requested that I change my webmail password. I have https://login.xfinity.com on the list of exceptions for cookies and site data to ALLOW. Regardless, Firefox doesn't allow me to do a password reset.
I used Safari to change the password. It worked.
Since I use most of the time Firefox, I wanted to go back and login into Comcast webmail using Firefox with the new password. It doesn't let me and just tells me to reset my password.
This used to work in the past. Something had to be changed since I last changed passwords for webmail in later versions of Firefox.
Please let me know know what to do to enable me to continue to use Firefox for webmail. I have version 115.5. Thanks.

Is the new password stored in Firefox if you check the about:logins page ?
Do you use a bookmark or are you starting with the main (home) page of this website?
If you use a bookmark to access a specific page, instead navigate to this page starting with the main page or with the sign in page in case there is a problem with this bookmark.
Thanks a lot cor-el for your reply on a Sunday. I do not use/have a bookmark saved for this website.
I checked about:logins page as suggested for passwords saved, but as I assumed there is nothing saved ("no logins found").
I rebooted the computer and now the Comcast webmail came up using the new password entered through Safari. I do not want to create any new problems for myself by trying to do the reset again from Firefox, but the password reset did not work from Firefox. At least now I am in business after using Safari. Since I tried to do it many times from Firefox and it did not work, there should be something in Firefox that prevented it from happening...
Thanks again and Happy Holidays!
Could have been a problem with Total Cookie Protection that isolates cross-site cookies.
Thanks cor-el. I am saving your email for any next time.
I also just changed my passwords with Comcast. Can you try Clear all items for a single site. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/remove-websites-address-bar-suggestions#firefox:win11:fx100
Thanks, jonzn4SUSE. Now that everything is working as expected, I would not want to ask for trouble. I might do what you suggest if next time, when changing passwords, I run into the same issue,
