When I open an email dozens of folders(?) of other emails appear in above toolbar. Then when I finish reading the email and close it the screen defaults to Address Book and the only way I can see the list of emails is click on Address Book icon and then the Mail icon above it. See screen shot if you can. I couldn't figure out how to make it larger.

Right click any of your open tabs (that is what they are in your image) and select close other tabs.

I finally figured our that if you click on the "uploaded image" at bottom left it'll be in a readable size.

Wow! Mattt, this is great! Wonderfully simple, and it worked! I was so disgusted with it I was starting to explore alternatives to Thunderbird. Thanks a million! No, make it a billion!
