On websites that I visit often, I have started to receive "Oops! Firefox could not find xlforum.net", etc. This is happening a lot. I've already done a virus/malware scan and the problem still exists. Any idea what's going on?

Same thing started happening to me. Goes away after a minute, but still annoying

My problem has not gone away. I've even done a system restore and it hasn't gone away. I've disabled all my add-ons as someone suggested, but that didn't help, so I put them all back in, one at a time, which is a real pain in the *ss, having to restart Firefox each time, but that didn't help. I know when I tried to load the newest version of Firefox I would keep getting a proxy not recognized error message over and over, so I went back to the last version.

I get this when I try to access certain websites and it doesn't matter which browser I use: Chrome, Explorer or Firefox. For those certain websites, it is 100% of the time. Only on this computer though, other computers can reach these sites.
