You can ignore those instructions and download the executable file to install Flash and run that.

You can download the version of Flash Player used by Firefox from http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player.exe Run that file to install Flash. The download link came from the Adobe troubleshooting guide for installing Flash - http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/191/tn_19166.html
