most times when i try to save a page my screen freezes and i get this message: A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete.

Script: chrome://global/content/bindings/richlistbox.xml:306. i fing this rather frustrating and wonder if there is an update to rectify this problem.

Hi there,

I have the same problem and have actually yet to find a solution. The lag usually occurs at the end of a download when it 'Scans for viruses'. Your best bet is to just minimize the download manager (Open it using Control+J) and using right-click -> Save Link As (or Image, etc.) to download files from the internet, while keeping the downloads window minimized to taskbar. This hopefully *should* stop the lag you are experiencing.

Please let me know if this is of assistance.

Best regards Aimee
